Hi all Hikers, I'm here with greatest news and glad to posting it here. With our hope and Feedback the Hike team has finally recently released the latest version with its Material Design!
Hike Messenger, founded by Kavin Mittal (son of Bharti Enterprises Head Sunil Bharti Mittal), was launched in end of 2012. The messenger app now has almost 60 million users. Though not an official announcement, this news was made public by none other than Hike’s CEO Kavin Mittal on his Twitter account before.
So why this is not on play store?
This is so latest one, the following message arrived on my Hike from team hike just yesterday on 20th Aug 2015. Its probably means that the official update is for the good hikers and who helped to improved Hike by giving Feedback or mail. I've given them Feedback before and I'm a Hike addicted so I'm from those lucky users who got this first :)

#2 : All new timeline : Timeline with new “Like” feature which also let’s you share photos , update status and notifies when your favorite contacts changes profile pictures somehow looks combination of Facebook timeline and BBM updates.New timeline adds “Like” button and option to “Clear Timeline” in menu. Clicking on bell icon shows who liked your photos or statuses. And sadly timeline doesn’t come anywhere near to card view with shadow of material design which could have been implemented easily.
Search in conversation is nothing new cause it is very similar to WhatsApp’s search mechanism.
#3 Themes : The all new cool hike's themes!! With Chat Themes, you can set fun images as your chat backgrounds with their friends or loved ones. The latest version of hike comes bundled with new and more awesome preset backgrounds for android platform.
#4 Lots of Performance Improvement and bugs fix : Sure, Hike is India’s Fastest Growing Mobile Messaging App. It’s still practically a newborn but Indian mobile messaging app Hike is already channeling almost a billion messages a month between its five million registered users. There’s no doubt that new hike has come up with new massive update with performance improvements for their users.
Kavin Mittal, CEO & founder of hike messenger also quotes in blogpost that,
